**BHop, the Julio Franco of boxing...**

    Julio Franco still playing baseball and doing it in a productive way for the Mets, at age 48 he is still strong, quick bat and is a contributors for the Mets, BHop still strong, still contibutes to his legacy..this 2 athletes are speciall specimens, and I think we are lucky to be able to see them perform at the highest level on their respective sports...

    Actually the Mets just dumped Franco, and he signed with the Braves. And Hopkins is, frankly, performing at a HIGHER level than Julio, who is really just hanging on at this point. Not to say that it is not impressive that he can even make a major league roster at 48, but he is not in the upper eschelon of MLB players at this point. Hopkins IS among fighters. Of course, he's also 4-5 years younger......
