RJJ yes, but Hopkins could realistically fight until he's 50 and still be VERY competitive...as long as he steers clear of Dawson. He's a fitness fanatic and has never been a gifted athlete so slowing down a bit won't bother him as much as someone like RJJ.
The key to tonight's maine event is Hopkins' jab. If Hopkins gets his jab going, he will set up other things and win. Hopkins is not a southpaw, but he is able to attempt a similar gameplan that Tarver used. Also similar to Forrest against Mosley. If Hopkins fails to get his jab going, Jones has too much speed and power for Hopkins. Did you all see Sillakh? I'm going to be checking out his upcoming fights.
'94-'03 Jones had too much speed and power for Hopkins. This version still has the power but is just slow enough for Hopkins to connect first with his superior timing.
Jones looks a bit drained and i extremely shot, b-hop will dominate him till the ref jumps in towards the end, that is the logical thing. Jones has speed but his reflexes are gone, he can do a good job agains a guy like lacy who was also shot and doesnt move to much. Hopkins will win
Oh ****. I was entertained in a Ruiz fight and I'm being entertained by a Sergio Mora fight in the same day. Is this Bizarro World???
