It's like watching that wrestling **** you screen over there. A complete joke of a fight! Boxing ain't a ****ing panto
My take on Roy's boxing skills vs. athleticism: Great athlete and to a large extent a reflex fighter -- once his reflexes began to deteriorate, he went downhill like all reflex fighters do. As for his boxing skills, much better than he gets credit for. Look at his combo punching in his prime, or in the Olympics. You don't throw triple-hooks without having skill. If you ever saw any amateurs out of Pensacola trained by Roy Sr., they all have an odd style. A lot of it is based on countering the other guy's jab. Those without Roy's reflexes and natural ability, it doesn't work as well, of course. But there is a style to it. Had a guy fought one of Roy Sr.'s guys in Golden Gloves and had him feint the jab throw the jab as a follow to the right and the guy looked like he was lost. Easy fight for my guy. Roy Jr.'s fundamentals, at least early in his career, were sharp but just unorthodox.
