i have them neck and neck so far.

with joecal'\s clear win against an atg in bhop, something theftjr lacked, a win by bhop over kovalev will put joecal over theftjr in the atg rankings, imo.

bhop beating kovalev now, put that notion to rest.

that means, joecal's one and only one legit win over a legit atg legitimizes all his wins.

if yes, that win just became more impressive in my book.


on the other hand, theftjr doesnt have a legit win over an atg, in his prime or close, at the right weight class.

bhop made it ugly. it's only way he can win. he couldnt match joecal's speed and stamina.

im sure he is going to pull similar tricks in the kovalev fight. but kovalev isnt as quick joecal.

i think bhop has a realistic chance if his chin holds agasint one of those flush shots that he cant avoid.
