Pac should have shot Raheem after he beat Morales and Guzman.

I think everybody starts looking for the big weakness or "ah ha" moment for a fighter who seems unstoppable. I remember there were threads all over the place a few years ago asking why Floyd avoids high pressure/high volume fighters. Then he owned a couple of them and now you don't see many threads on it anymore.

Pacquiao will either fight Mayweather, which will shut this topic up, or he'll fight the winner of the JWW tournament (unless it's Khan), which will also shut this topic up.

Or he'll fight Mosley, which will shut some people up, but others will start threads like, "PRIME slick black fighters".

Yup. If he didn't have a history of racism, then it might be more convincing when posters say "he actually meant blah blah blah"

I do have respect for his skills and his achievements, but he is an ******* in and out of the ring.

hopkins is my favorite fighter, but i'm not a nuthugger like calzombies or *******s. his comment was pretty wack. pacquiao doesn't need to fight an african american fighter. too much emphasis is put on the race of a fighter. it's the style i want to see pacquiao deal with. a slick boxer. being slick is not equal to being black. it's making subtle adjustments the opponent can't account for and stealing rounds. hopkins statements should be taken from a stylistic perspective. pacquiao needs to fight someone who can use lateral movement, counter punch, and has a defense. anyone with speed like pac's can look good against a bunch of stiff bums who just got their asses whooped before they fought pacquiao.

some people are just blatantly biased or just ignorant. it's cool. hopkins was one of the best fighters of the last two decades for a reason.

Manny is waiting for the so called greatest black fighter ever to step in the ring with him but the greatest says he is too good and he is taking Power Pellets. Then he fights Shane Mosley who admitted taking steroids. All after Manny whooped the man that beat Mosley and after Pac took out ODLH + Hatton about 100 x easier than Floyd did.
Neither had a prayer vs. Manny while they went 21 rounds with Floyd and Oscar was coming on like a storm. Volume punchers with speed are bad for Floyd.
Manny is the best because he can outbox you, take your best and re arrange your face while you get paid.

This is the most childish idiotic discussion that has been going on on ESB. Pacquiao has faced some of the toughest boxers in the world. Dosent matter if they are black.

Manny has yet to beat an Afro-American who has played the lead role as a detective in hit box office film and also enjoys playing Squash in his spare time.
