Cintron was proven to not be good enough.

Pascal has gone on to be a champion at 175.
Dirrell has gone on to outclass Abraham.

Further proof they are both a lot better than Cintron.

Plus, Froch WON both. Martinez DREW.

P4P rankings are purely subjective and meaningless. I can put whoever I want in my top 10 and no one can prove me wrong. It's fantasy match ups and weight inflations/deductions, "how would FMJ fight at 220lbs?".

I disagree Ward convincingly beat Kessler who was still highly regarded and in most everyones top 15 or 20, Dirrell beat Froch and beat highly regarded Abraham so i disagree with that one. Dirrell did run a lot but bottom line he landed the most meaningful punches, won the most rounds and hurt Froch briefly at one point. Only rounds Froch won were the rounds that Dirrell won, reminded me of a poor mans Tito vs ODLH.

What they did after does not matter. What matters what they did before and how good they proved at the time when they fought.

Bold. Like I said: boxrec warrior. :-(

Of course what they do after matters.

That proves how good/not good they are.

You rank somebody Top20 or borderline Top10 based on one win? Wow. Sorry, to me you must prove more to be p4p.

If you have Dirrell beating Froch than Dirrell is reasonable at the lower end. I don´t think he beat him.

I agree when it comes to something clearly measurable. Like Football. But not something like boxing where it is much more subjective. In Argentine in the 60s/70s it was a rule that you have to win a fight by at least 3-4 points or it would be rules a draw. Monzon was a victim of this rule a few times that´s why his first time against Briscoe is a draw and not a win. I think this is a good thing.

No, it proves what potential they had. Fighters are improving or degenerating consistently. What shows how good they are at a given point is what they did before the point not what they did after. Common sense. You are a island ****** so you may lack that.

Well i cant see how anyone can have Froch beating Dirrell, if you think that well than you can make a case for Chavez beating Whittaker cause i thought that fight was closer than Dirrell, Froch.

As for one fight getting in the top 10 not quite, maybe thats why i didnt put him in but beating a respected top guy like Miranda counted for something and he didnt only beat a good guy like Kessler he dominated him. Like i said in my other thread he beat kessler Very convincingly. Also top 10 isnt so deep today so an impressive win against a fighter on the fringes should give you consideration.

And?... Pascal might fight in a higher weight class now, but Froch still has the clear height and reach advantage over him.
They fought at smw as well
