Big American Fights on Sky ?

Hope so.

 

check their tv listings. they are showing loads of fights.

 

If they start showing the big US fights on a consistent basis, I might actually get Sky.

 

I don't think so you know. I think it was the way that Mayweather did all his promotion through sky sports when he came to the UK. If this wasn't on Sky or box office it would have been pretty suprising! Can't see anyone being that intersted (except us lot on here and die hard fans) in Cotto or Pacquiao promoting a fight in the UK.

 

I fully expect Cotto vs Pac to be on Sky, other fights I do not expect to be on sadly.

 

Pavlik-Williams is on the same night as the proposed Khan-Salita card. Sky were also covering the fight on their website prior to it being rescheduled. Read what you will into that one but I am VERY hopeful.

I would also be suprised if Cotto-Pacquiao is not on Sky after Pac's recent fights on Sky and also the fact that they are blatantly hyping up a potential PBF-Pac fight.

I remain hopeful. As **** as their coverage is, at least they are showing some stateside boxing. That said, I pay a subscription so I excpect it, TBH- it's not like they are doing me, and other boxing fans, favours to be nice:good.

 

Pavlik Williams will be on the Khan/Salita night ?? - That means its gonna be PPV you can gaurantee that :deal

 

Id settle for paying PPV if it meant Pavlik/Williams being shown aswell. If Pacquiao/Cotto isnt on Sky I, and I imagine everyone else on here, will be seriously pissed off.

 

i thought they were going to show mayweather/marquez and pacquiao/cotto to generate interest in a ppv with mayweather and pacquiao. but thinking about it i cant see them winning over any new fans who wouldn't otherwise have been interested. pisses me off the amount of coverage football gets, you can literally watch every domestic and european game, and your scratching around trying to find big international fights, although ffn is a brilliant programme there is nowhere near enough international coverage

 

i reckon we will see only the big ones.

i agree with Rob they'll only hand pick the "big" ones

we'd consider marquez/Diaz or pavlik vs williams a big one but they wouldn't

 

i think we will see Cotto vs Pacquiao and Pavlik vs Williams (as part of a ppv double header if they have any brain cells)

I am sure they are interested in Froch and the Super 6 at the right price.

other than that what big fights are out there. there not gonna show the smaller Top Rank fights setanta had.

if setanta were about we might be seeing arreola vs vitali, thats about it.
