Eddie is going to announce that he's going to stop running into the ring like a twat when one of his fighters win?
I understand why people moan but at the same time if the fight doesn't go on ppv it doesn't generate enough money for fighters to want to fight a specific person.. so would you want to see the fight or not :S
Although i'll probably end up watching Haye-Fury and Groves-Froch in a bar or via a stream they're pretty meaningless fights in the scheme of things just like Froch-Kessler was so i couldn't give two ****s if they weren't made. Froch-Kessler was a decent fight on paper but let's be honest it was only there to decide who the second best Supermiddle was which is hardly a tempting PPV and both would easily get beaten if they ever faced Andre Ward again. There's no reason at all for Haye-Fury except to make money but even the build-up has been a non event. This fight is nothing but a payoff for Fury, his management team know he'll lose which is the reason they never made the David Price or Pulev fights. At least there was a reason for Haye-Chisora and the build up for that fight was brilliant. Groves-Froch is a complete JOKE! Groves has never beaten a Top 10 Supermiddle weight and they've got the nerve to ask punters to fork out an extra £15/20 for the honour of watching this fight...they can **** OFF!
Groves v Froch should NOT be PPV. Boxing is enjoying its best months in years, decades maybe. They should not be wrecking it by making this fight PPV. Groves is a good challenge but PPV? Not a chance. Fury/haye is as its a quality, explosive, sell-able fight. Groves is the least marketable fighter in boxing right now.
