Looks like Miller has listened to his critics and dropped whole 2 lbs since the Adamek fight! This content is protected
The whole Miller 300lb+ thing is overblown in my opinion. Naturally he is just massive and I don't think dropping to 280lb or so would actually help him much more.
I don't think he's naturally that massive he has been below 250lbs, lean he's be between 250-260lbs and if you watch some of his early footage he looked far more skilled as he was physically able to do things he can't now with the extra weight. He's one of those guys who's blessed in regards to where the fat is distributed but that doesn't mean he's not at least 25% body fat. Some people at 25% body fat put all the weight on the belly and get a big gut, Miller isn't like that, it goes on his butt, quads, back and arms, so it gives the illusion he's bigger when in reality he's just fatter. Having said that the extra weight has not been a hindrance up to this point, might of even been a benefit as it's allowed him to bully some big guys like Washington and Wach. But against the right fighter that extra weight is going to cost him. Whether Dinu is the guy to expose that we'll see when they fight.
The funny thing is is that Miller actually looks much sharper and crisper at 315 than he did at 285. Don't listen to the dumb mofos who say he's fat, with Harry Kiett in his corner, he's probably amongst the fittest men in boxing regardless of his weight/size. After everyone drumming up what a great prospect Dinu is for years, his critics will either whine about a mismatch again, how Miller took too many punches, or wake the f#$k up and realize it's going to take a super heavyweight with serious size, feet and power to even make a +315 Miller sweat.
The great fat distribution isn't genetic, it comes from Miller combining boxing training with powerlifting. Helps spread fat/mass distribution move evenly. Take a look at world powerlifters Brian Shaw and Thor Bjornsson, similar fat distribution. Likewise, like powerlifters, its why Miller lacks concussive one punch KO power like a Joshua or Wilder but his punches are so strong and heavy they grind you to a halt and gas you extremely quickly.
All those guys are on roids, so is Miller most likely looking at his instagram he clearly has an interest in body building and is surrounded by guys who are clearly using. His cousin is a body builder and makes Joshua look like a twig in comparison. Disagree about fat distribution being genetic you can't spot reduce or alter where fat is distributed through training. Look at Savickas plenty of guys with powerlifting back grounds have big guts. And look at Savickas now in comparison he's lost a ton of weight and looks ripped. Same with Eddie Hall guy had a big gut too, then lost the weight and is now pretty ripped with abs. It's simply down to genetics. Look at Iron Biby, another strong man, he said it himself he's a fat athletic kid, who found strong man. He like Miller gains fat pretty much everywhere but his gut so looks huge but is at least 30% body fat. I've known people like Miller. They don't look fat but when they suddenly go on a diet and lose a ton of body fat you realise they were fat all along. I dated a woman who was the same, when she gained weight it almost all went to her butt, boobs and thighs, she gained 20 lbs but her waist stayed almost the same and she was no powerlifter lol.
I disagree too. I'm speaking from personal experience. You want to put on weight and gain mass without looking like a blimp, powerlift, spreads mass/fat much more evenly and you keep the athletic muscular appearance as opposed to basic weight training. As for Hall and Saviskas, both are only 6'3 and both have talked openly about having to get fat/obese because you need to be at least +400 pounds in body mass for the strength to compete at world powerlifting level and at there height/body frame piling on the fat to reach +400 is the only option. 6'8 Shaw, 6'9 Bjorsson at +400 pounds or 6'4 Miller at +300 pounds all look like beasts without being fat. Why? powerlifting and even body fat/mass distribution. Millers first fight he had man boobs and a gut at 250, today he looks like a general powerlifting hulk. This content is protected
What you're actually talking about is not where fat is distributed but the difference in appearance due to build and muscle mass. Guys like Shaw and Thor are much taller than Savickas and even Hall who isn't a midget at 6'3". It's far harder for them to get a gut because they are so long and even then Shaw has a gut when at his heaviest unlike Miller. All these guys have huge amounts of muscle, far more than even Miller, Hall for example was about 430lbs when he competed and is now a mere 373lbs now, that he's lean. The more muscle you have the more it shows even through higher body fat percentages. These guys have so much muscle they could have 6 packs at much higher body fat level than mere mortals. Miller in comparison has much less muscle mass but is still pretty lean looking. He doesn't have the muscle mass these guys have, Hall with a lower body fat is still 60lbs heavier lol. Yet Miller despite having less muscle and more fat still has a smallish waist, that's genetics not training or build. Miller on his pro debut clearly has less muscle and but now he has far more but still less than a strong man and his body fat percentage is higher too, but because of the extra muscle and his genetics it doesn't look as bad as it would on most people.
This content is protected Jarrell Miller really looks like he has Kleinfelter Syndrome in here. It actually makes perfect sense. He's like someone with Kleinfelters who is taking steroids to counter the physical effects. Does he have any kids? Many sufferers of Kleinfelters are infertile. @Brighton bomber - You know who Jason Blaha is? His physique is very similar to Jarrell Miller's apart from the fact that Miller has substantially more muscle and a larger frame generally. Also, who dressed Eddie Hearn for the weigh in? It's like he picked one item of clothing for a completely different event.
Lol yeah I kind of know who Jason Blaha is. That's one weird looking dude, I can believe I'm the same age as him, he looks old enough to be my father, lol. I'd off myself if I had his physique, lmao.
Look at Miller acting all big and tough. Prime Nichols still has a good 150 lbs on him. This fairy would be collecting himself of the canvas from the very first check jab.
