Likely though based on his weight he probably has a 2nd serving every meal time.

He's fat. He's probably 25% body fat for Christ sake, but he does a a huge amount of muscle under it, no denying that.

His work rate is good true, but only when he's facing out matched opposition where he can set the pace. Arreola had a good work rate too, didn't stop him from gassing vs Stiverne. It's not always about how many punches you throw but when you raise the tempo. Much like in running it's easy to set a fast time by setting a steady pace but at the elite level top runners will throw in fast miles at times to break better runners, which is why you'll see guys with that years best time going in, die in the last 400m and finish far slower than they've been running all year. So sure Miller can throw a low, but can he live with the pace when it's raised for these bursts?

If Miller goes too much for the body he'll get countered to the head, you see it all the time with body punchers at the top level, they carve a career breaking guys to the body, then they step up to elite and everyone asks when they lose what happened to the body punching that led to their success. What you can do at a lower level won't always work when you step in with the best and let's be clear this is a big jump up in class for Miller.

Whyte couldn't crack that chin with his vaunted left hook, Wlad's big right couldn't crack it either and Miller does not hit harder than either of them. He doesn't have the one punch power to KO Joshua, he'll need to land in volume and grind him down. As for being in Joshua's head, lol, didn't look like it at the press conference, Joshua had Miller backing up after the push.

He probably just eats a ton of protein and carbs in whatever form he prefers it. Most likely a similar diet to many powerlifters, since that's what he seems to model his training style on.

His weight definitely appears to be an intentional tactic rather than just laziness, as there's clearly a lot of muscle behind the flab.

Spot on @it’s Ovah, looks to me like he has the base of a powerlifting diet. Sadly he’s a professional in the combat sport world so it’s a badly advised base for a fighter and he is ‘fat’ in terms of an elite athlete.

Yeah that I agree with, he isn't just some lazy or ill discipline slob, there's a method to his madness. Whether it works at the top level we'll see when he steps in with Joshua.

All the extra weight comes at a cost even if it's mainly muscle, it limits what he can do to some extent. He throws a lot of arm punches because putting his body weight behind shots more often would gas him out quickly. When he's pressed and under pressure and forced to raise the intensity I think we'll see him gas and his form suffer.

Yes, it's not a bodytype I'd say is particularly beneficial for a combat sports athlete, though he seems to have made it work for him against all odds up to this point. I just hope he doesn't set a precedent, as I find his power over technique style pretty awful to watch.

Guess his diet will change to a liquid one after the fight, at least for a while.
