THat NSW will not work and will cost Millions dollar and I see with in 10 years there will major problems with it and all the other clubs in the AFL heart land will revault against it when they see the money that they will have to put into it to keep it afloat.

 

Agree totally with that, this push to have another club in Sydney and one in the Gold Coast is just stupid when the crowds only come in for the Lions and Swans when they're winning. Meanwhile Tasmania (a footy state) have approached the AFL with government backing and they don't even want to listen to them.

 

Exactly give any big guy who can punch a free shot on Hall's jaw and he'd be dropped as well.

 

I think Gold Coast could work, I live on the gold coast and was born and bred here, there is alot of victorian's up here and there AFL mad and there is a big culture of going to the games with AFL people, so there is a chance, the sydney think is going to be biggest waste of money in the history of Aussie sport, there going to have to put millions for years to keep this running. it is a joke. Tasmania ahould get a team and the AFL should bank roll it.
