    I agree but who was the better amateur?

    You could say that is close.

    They have fought similar opposition as pros and both have question marks against them in various aspects. We do know that Anderson has sparred A LOT with a world class fighter in Carl Froch.

    We can safely say he isn't a mug.

    Groves has sparred with Froch too.....

    He's faced the better opposition to date as a pro.... but Anderson obviously isn't a clown and I'd expect him to fare better than Adamu.

    Someone pointed out on another thread to note the weight of Andersons opposition, he has fought guys a hell of a lot heavier than his natural supermiddle weight. Also have a look at Groves most are light middle weights.
