Just came across this [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NBvbJxEOnh4[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oebhNQeFh9A&feature=relmfu[/ame] Norfolk looks pretty good, Tate not so much
Norfolk despite being left hook and clinch happy looks pretty useful. Tate looks like he doesn't have a clue Wills going from decimating both to drawing with Tate, is a massive drop in form for Wills or a massive improvement in Tate
Impossible to decipher all those results. Bill Tate may have been better than this footage indicates. I believe his training for this Norfolk bout was getting beat up daily by Jack Dempsey, who topped the bill against Bill Brennan. Tate had won a 6-rounder against old Sam Langford a few months earlier on the Dempsey-Miske under card. Not all these fight results and performances should be taken too seriously though. I suspect if all the Wills-Langford fights were available of film some of you here would be horrified by most of them.
