I was talking to him a couple of weeks ago & take it from me, he looked like he could have fought that night. He was in great shape.
About the only thing that would have stopped him was the scar, which was still a bit fresh.

He did a gee-up on "Bondi rescue" awhile back & he went alright. He had the kid sucked right in.
At least in this one he has a script.

Yes i agree with some of the comments relating to Moon faces son. How the **** can we take this little snotty nose talentless jerk serious as a "Mr BiG" in the new series?

I'll be watching, but Australian actor stocks are very thin if Newton is getting a gig in a show like this.

I was speaking to someone in the know on the weekend and he believes Newton will be a good piece of casting - reckons the peronsality types are bang on for what this fella was really like. It's like the previous series with people not liking Col'n Carpenter being a hood - in reality he played his part really well, it's just that people did not have the imagination to see past Gyngell's previous character's. Let's face facts: who beforehand would have thought "Poida" would make such a great Chopper?
