Great win for Browne. Regardless of the opposition, to travel internationally and get a dominant win is huge step up for anyone early in their career.

Congrats to his team on getting him the fight and congrats to Browne on taking the step up and finishing in style.

Great to see an Aussie take the Commonwealth route , you been gone too long boys chasing that Inter - Continental belt strap ( i know it gets you ranked higher but really what's the point if the level of fighting is so poor ) ? , another fight or two during the summer down under then back up here for a Commonwealth title shot for Lucas i reckon , i think it may be vacant after Fury dumped it to fight Marty Rogan for the Irish Heavyweight title instead of defending it V David Price .

On a side note , Why don't the Australian Heavyweights just have a prizefighter comp ?

Great win by Lucas, Hopefully he signed with Hatton promotions and can get more fights over there. there's no point staying here and getting paid absolute peanuts to fight.

He was stripped of the Aussie Title for no other reason but politics ive heard.

Can people stop saying it's a great win............ yes it's a win and we applaud him for going the UK route.

If he beats the next guy that has 3/4 of a heart beat, we can start discussing the empire belt against guys like Tyson Fury

Mate, I dont know why we dont have a prizefighter kind of thing over here to be honest.
It would be beneficial to the fighters and would bring the crowds back I reckon.

Aussie boxing sounds way too political , up here the British , Commonwealth & European titles demand you fez up and fight the best , also public demand insurers decent fights get made , Lucas will have to fight the best sooner or later if he continues his career up here under Hatton promotions it's just the way it is mate , just out if interest when was the last Mega heavyweight fight down under ? .

I hope Hatton promotions push Lucas all the way & get the very best out of him.

Sonny Bill Williams v Clarence Tillman. For one of the NZ titles no less.

Do we actually know Lucas is having anything more than a one off fight for Hatton promotions? Has Lucas said he has a contract for several fights with Hatton?
