This content is protected On Friday 6th November Sky cameras will in Belfast but perhaps at the wrong venue. Dont get me wrong M'baye vs McCloskey gives the Irishman an excellent chance of picking up the European belt and a fight I would like to see but not at the expense of the eagerly anticipated rematch between Sam Sexton and Martin Rogan. Also on that bill will be Bill Joe Saunders Alex Arthur and Ricky Burns. The week before on the 30th October we may not be able to see two fantastic British title fights between scousers Paul Smith and Tony Quigley and Welterweights Kell Brook and Michael Jennings as the Sky team is due to be in Leigh for Gary Sykes and Ryan Barretts super featherweight clash! Anyone got the latest on these card and if there will be any changes to the date or if RTE may pick up the Sexton v Rogan fight?
Think Jennings and Brook is definitely on (been advertised on Sky) whether we get to see on TV Smith Vs Quigley will be a different matter as its only a 2 hour slot and 2 of the olympians (who Sky like to show) are on the bill. As for McCloskey, Sexton, Rogan etc. Would be nice if they just showed 1 delayed or maybe made FFN 3 hour special and showed the Mcloskey fight too.
Nice idea about the McCloskey fight, i hope they choose to due that. So you have seen Brook Jennings advertised? according the the schedual sky are in Leigh that night http://www.boxrec.com/schedule.php?country=UK&division=&title=&tv=&SUBMIT=Go
i reckon sky will at the very least show highlights later in the week. kind of hoping m'baye get injured and the fight gets put back to december.
Brook-Jennings is on Sky Sports 10pm October 30th Sky will show Quigley-Smith...they have had clips of them in press conference and mentioned it a few times. They will show both but Brook-Jennings is the main attraction for the sky ad's.
if both brook vs jennings and smith vs quigley go 12 rounds, they will not be able to show the full DeGale and Gavin fights which is intresting.
Ahh glad thats happening. I was thinking they might only show bits of Smith/Quigley to accomodate DeGale, Gavin like on the Khan/Kotelnik PPV. 3 hour FFN that week anyone? I wouldn't mind.
I'd have that no problem. I do think they will bring it forward by 30 minutes to 9.30...just a feeling i have.
