What’s your preference a big night in a huge venue or small hall local show?

Small hall for me as long as the production is good. Close to the action and a genuine boxing crowd.

    What are your thoughts ?

Depends, both have their good and bad points. The one thing I would say is Boxing at a stadium is a disappointment to the fancy, as you are only paying for the atmosphere, you are unlikely to see any boxing, unless you look at the big screens.

Stadiums are dreadful. Too big for atmosphere and if it rains you’re screwed.

I like both but hate stadium fights. I'm a proper seat snob though and don't see the point going if I have to watch it in a TV.

You can't beat a good small hall show that's packed to the rafters with a big fight on and the place been 50/50 in support of each fighter.
I was at Barnsley metrodome last week.
Really nice place, well done out for the event, quite busy with some competative fights on and showing some local talent starting out.
    It was a great night.
All in all I prefer a good small hall show

    York hall every time

you can see the action clearly even right at the back

they should hold more British title fights there really

Anywhere you can almost be within touching distance of the ring while being at the bar, is my type of venue. And York Hall is English boxing's Mecca, but generally it should not be used for big fights, it is a classic boxing club, and Area fights should be its main event.

At the Lagoon Leisure Centre in Paisley. Has seating for 350. Maybe a few hundred watching . What a stink bomb performance by Saunders. Fury and Saunders couldn’t draw flies to ****e.
