Big fights like this that are duds hurt the sport

True but MMA or even UFC fight's are pretty bad too in fact their worse.

 

Sad, he didn't even bother, he could have come on this Board & we here would have concocted a better game plan for him to execute with clearer instructions then his weak as Corner & loser of a Trainer that many here were raving about did.

 

mma is the only "real' sport more rigged than boxing.

I watch them regularly but since the last 3 years or so their hasn't been many bangers,

Even last night's card got a pass from me, UFC needs to build new stars pronto, their quality has gone down drastically.

 

If you think Canelo GGG 3 was a dud, there's only one person to blame for that : GGG. For fighting boring, for not making it exciting, as he could have, as his fans expected him to, as the predicted he would. If it was a dud, it was a dud because GGG allowed Canelo to dominate him for most of the fight and build up a big lead. If it was a dud, that's on GGG. Not Canelo. Canelo came to fight. GGG didn't. GGG came to survive. That's not what fans who pay big $$ for PPVs want to see. GGG didn't give the fans their $$s worth last night. Canelo did.

 

The last card had someone come back to win after being kneed so hard in the head that their skull was basically exposed. The card before that had a sloppy but hilariously mental fat guy brawl with Barnett/Collier, the card before that had that excellent Tuivasa/Gane fight with Gane coming back from being badly hurt, the card before that had the ****ing insane Onama/Landwehr fight immediately followed by the very good Cruz/Vera fight that ended with a crazy head kick KO. Last month had the absolute bat **** crazy Su Mudaerji/Schnell fight and then another card with a war between Rockhold/Costa immediately followed by that crazy Usman/Edwards upset KO. Etc etc. I mean its pretty ****ing consistent.
