^ pretty good list. I don't agree with the first 3 picks but the last two are interesting and certainly the first 3 are possible.

    Cristian Mijares vs. Rafa Marquez

For the record, I don't even know that it would've been a different outcome (Mijares is so underrated on here, chopped liver ever since Darchinyan beat him, largely as backlash to all the hype a few posters had built up around him) but it would've been a lot more fun, and less sad.

I think Ali - Holmes, would, in their primes, have been a close fight.

Sorry, i beg to differ. With benefit of hindsight, Calzaghe retired earlier than Jones, that doesnt equate to Calzaghe being more shot than Jones, which is what your post suggests. Calzaghe was on the best run of his career prior to facing Jones with wins over Lacy, Bika, Kessler and Hopkins. Jones had already been embarassingly KOed twice, years before facing Calzaghe.

I think Jones was way more past it and Calzaghe wasnt anywhere near as shot as youd like people to believe.

I dont see Calzaghe stopping any version of Jones because when they actually fought, as mentioned before, Jones had already suffered 2 back to back career ending KOs. Calzaghe was unable to stop, or even come close to stopping the shot version of Jones he did face.Danny Green was able to KO Jones in 1 round soon after the Calzaghe fight and then Lebedev did it.

Secondly, Calzaghe has 2 actual KOs to his name, out of 46 fights, the rest were TKOs (mainly stoppages)

I dont envision any version of Calzaghe stopping any version of Jones. The one he fought was bad enough and easy enough to stop and he couldnt even do that.

I just say that because manny said it was one of his toughest fights, not sure if he was just being humble. For the record i think margarito is a scumbag too.

'Zaggers CBE was shot to **** when he fought Roid. Prime for prime against the young KO artist Jones would've had his glass chin cracked. :nod

    These 2 for sure.:deal

Of the popular ones picked so far:

    Agree RJJ would beat Calzaghe
SMM vs FMJ not sure, might give a slight edge to Shane
ODLH vs FMJ 50/50, Oscar always had that suspect stamina.
Pac vs FMJ, whilst I prefer Pac as a fighter I would always go Floyd in this match up.

Trying to think of some that haven't been said.
    Vasquez - Marquez IV?
    Tszyu - Hatton?
