Peds are around from the '30s, and at the times Foreman fought, there wasn't testing at all.
Additionally, peds doesn't make you taller.
Not only the top fighters height is raised, but the entire average height has.
Like in every. single. other. sport.
Take tennis, take swimming, average height has increased drammatically. More selection, you aren't competitive or you are disadvantaged if you have the '70s sizes.

And you reach your height at the age of 16-17, when you are just a kid and a nobody.

Excellent post. Imagine if he knocked out Ali in a rematch. Would there be any doubt of Big George being the greatest?

A little bit harsh about the tomato cans, but I suppose you're right really. Although Moorer was a good fighter.

Qawi, Cooper, Cooney, Rodrigues, Lost a decision in a good battle to Holyfield who was undefeated, Ellis, Coetzer and Morrison isn't tomato can alley before he won the title against Moorer who was 35-0 and just coming off a win against Holyfield for the lineal title and also becoming the first southpaw ever to be Heavy Weight Champion.

If it was 2 against 1 maybe. Imagine the look on Wlad's face if it was a 2 against 1 and his big brother was laying on the canvas after getting knocked out.

George was 69-2 65 knock outs at 42 years old. That will never happen again.

You mean laying on the ropes, landing quick straights shots to Foreman's head all night long, doing a great job at both defending and absorbing Foreman's shots, fighting a smarter fight, beating Foreman mentally and physically?

    That black magic?

All Mighty of the Heavens Above please forgive this humble servant of yours but it's time to say it - how many times one needs to be humiliated by the likes of skilled boxers like Muhammad Ali, Jimmy Young or even Evander Holyfield or even Axel Shultz and Shannon Briggs to use Your Divine Name and at the same time crush skulls and ribs and sell burgers and grills?
