Big George Foreman vs Dereck "Del Boy" Chisora

Discussion in 'Classic Boxing Forum' started by WelcomePaladin2, Nov 8, 2015.

  1. Prime Big George vs a Chisora that fought Haye.

I think Chisora uses his speed advantage to nick the majority of the first 6 rounds. Both fighters are known for tiring so it turns into a slow slugfest in the championship rounds.

It goes the distance but Del Boys bright start sticks in the judges mind & he wins a UD, possibly SD

However, I wouldn't put it past big George landing a few bombs and winning by TKO in the 9th

    Thoughts?

  2. No thoughts? I reckon this is closer than what the bookmakers suggest.

This would be a mismatch of epic proportions.

  4. I don't know about that. I know big George is a fighter from the 70s but I reckon his sheer power could match modern Day Del Boy,

I still think Chisora nicks it, but don't under estimate big George as he was a great.

They are just different classes of fighter.

Chisora is a guy who never quite cracked the top ten, while Foreman was an all-time great.

If David Haye could put Chisora away, then you have better believe that Foreman could do it.

  6. Ever heard the phrase "fights make styles"?

Anyway, Haye beats foreman in less than 8 rounds. I might even do a poll to prove it

Foreman would probably still whoop Chisora's ass today.

With that being said a 90's Foreman would push around Chisora, jab him to death, and club him into submission in about 2 rounds. I think it would look a lot like the Bert Cooper fight.

    A very poor trolling attempt.

Barely even worth calling a trolling attempt more like a childish cry for attention.

  15. Still think Chisora would win via decision.

As I said before, it's not completely out the question for Big George to cause an upset and KO Del Boy late on
