Pauli flies over for when sky want to use him. He could have the sky gig full time if he wanted it but he doesn't want to give up his work with Showtime at the moment.

malignaggi's insight is great. I just can't stand his voice which is a bit of a hindrance!!

Malinaggi is great but I doubt they will want him all the time or else they will have him well warned after he was slating Terry O'Conner last night, Adam Smith went quiet a few times and desperately tried to change the subject rather than have any attention on the fact Matchroom fighters get vastly superior treatment from boxing officals...

Paulie was fantastic at the weekend. Froch was awful as always - it's like the man has never watched boxing before. Nelson the usual cliches. Jamie Moore I find to be decent and I hope they use Andy Clarke more,

It was embarrassing that. We get it, they're all mates with Eddie and Crolla is 'a lovely bloke' but this isn't a popularity contest and Linares was the obvious pick to anyone who knows anything about boxing.

The bookies got is badly wrong too, Linares was 6/4, Crolla a 1/2 Fav.

I personally don't think Sky's coverage could have got any worse with Halling.

Halling once described Oliver Harrison as "like North Korea" and it felt like every punch thrown by a Matchroom fighter was "WORLD CLASS". Halling had to go and now he has the commentary has become instantly better.

Also I wish Watt a happy retirement but it should have happened 5 years ago.

its like they are all back at school

lost respect for froch a little never took him as a bloke to smoke up some ones a55 type of guy but money does strange things to a person
even nelson picked crolla telling us the other week brook as tools to trouble ggg but linares aint got much if anything on crolla
crolla did well but there are levels and you aint going to find that level to beat a top guy like Jorge in joes gym I'm afraid
Jorge as trained all over the world
japan for training is also underrated imo
I thought Jorge may have been shot and lacked a little heart from past outings but he provedme wrong and showed me just how durable he really is

It's why Paulie is such a necessary addition to the Sky team. He's not desperate to be Eddie's mate. He's not there to big up the home fighter, he's there to, you know, talk about boxing.

he can repeat him self a bit though
    but his insight is great
I like how he put it when asked about canelhoe khan
    and ggg brook
    simply said ggg>canelhoe
    brook > khan
tells you which fight is better

I thought Paulies commentary was first class, but I think during Crolla fight Froch was great too. Them two and Adam Smith combined really well.

Were you not amused by Froch just blurting out what punches he'd just seen thrown? I laugh a little every time he does because it's like someone calling you on the pads but only doing so after you've thrown a punch.

"Right hand left hook, right hand left hook..."

Paulie has no allegiances to any british fighters that alone makes him a stand out pundit

Yes the value was Linares I actually had a sneaking feeling for a draw if it went to the cards and tbh thought that though Linares won clearly he was going to get jobbed on the cards with SD draw.

There is always some value out there from time to time especially when a home fighter is involved Cleverly-Kovalev a decent example also both Price-TT fights he was 9-1 first fight and even 4-1 rematch iirc. The odds normally tighter involving a home fighter obviously but the ones that stick out for me Calzaghe-Lacy and Froch-Bute when they priced it up badly against the home fighter.
