It haunts the "fighting man" he was a patsy in the ring....the £250 a night xxxxsole that promoters called in to fight a 9-2 southern area prospect and quit on his stool while screaming "lemme at em lemme at em". Big John wasnt even a blip on the British scene. Tyson didnt even learn his boxing from him.
Now as a pensioner he is forever doomed to play out a new career fighting only one opponent...Irrelevence.

I think Froch goes too far though, its one thing having a laugh and bit of ego but he goes too far into total cocky ***** territory and complete disrespect. Look at the way he rips into and ridicules AJ all the time. I get he has some arrogance because he was an elite boxer but its out of control with Froch.

Street fighting isnt boxing and Froch is way too confident.

 

Street fighting isn't boxing but in the street, Froch still has his skills and fighting instinct. I wouldn't automatically assume that outside of a ring a boxer hasn't got a chance against an MMA fighter, outside of the ring the boxer also has more than his fists available. Froch wouldn't let John Fury get him by the scruff of the neck, John Fury just bumrushes people in public places and gouges their eye out. I guarantee you that the second anyone puts an aggressive finger on Carl Froch he's getting out of the way and then doing the necessary as his instincts, instincts that made him a World Champion, one that got off the canvas and dug deep, kick in. Did John Fury ever dig deep in the ring? He rolled over for Garber, which is fine if you're a boxer, it happens, but don't run your mouth thirty years later going on about how hard you are, he's proven he isn't. Froch absolutely rocks the life out of him if it's face to face, one on one with no degenerate travellers jumping in to help out the old clown.

John should give everyone peace and get on some medication for it. Hes erratic. One minute he wants to chin you the next hes your best friend.

As much as John should give us peace part of me defo wants to see froch v john on the cobbles. The safe moneys on froch. Pretty sure he,d pagger John. But also think weight and size is underestimated in a fight. Hence why it was mostly lumps on the doors back in the day.

Most of them weren,t really fighters...but they beat most on sheer size alone a lot of the time. Outweighing people by 7 or 8 stone is a lot of weight to give away.

Big John looks more like a classic sociopath who's got wilder from being enabled, not checked. Back when Peter ran things he was subdued, almost overmedicated or stoned, but also like a simmering volcano ready to erupt. Either way, it's probably more about accountability, trauma, and proper support than rushing to a label or meds.
