Fury has likely been fighting on the cobbles for minimum 55 years. Experience gained over that time is priceless.

Probably true. You,ll know more than me bud. I do think he needs to see someone tho because John seems like hes struggling with something. He should be having the time of his life....sharing in the success of his son etc. Instead hes a paranoid fella thats blowing hot and cold every two minutes.

I dont actually know enough about bipolar/depression or even medication tbh. To me tho from the outside looking in both Tyson and John look dead certs for bipolar as i understand bipolar anyway. Theres probably better ways to deal with it than trying medication but none of them are realistic with John imo.

Is being a nobhead excused if you say your bipolar?

    Are all nobheads just bipolar?
    Are all bipolar people nobheads?

I think theres a pattern. When Johns feeling low. He acts like a nobhead. Theres no real excuse for it. Hes pretty much universally thought of as a nobhead.

But my best guess is Johns not seeking help for bipolar/depression when he probably should be.

I think Tyson already takes the **** with his bipolar bull.
He constantly mocks others then pulls the bipolar card if he gets the slightest criticism.

So no need to feel sorry for poor innocent John.
The guy is aggressive at the build up to every show. I can't think of a bigger bully ever involved in boxing.

Hard agree on the first point, it's on par with guys like Shakur Stevenson or Teofimo Lopez acting like classless wannabe gangsters 95% of the time then going hard on God in the post-fight interview as if that gives them a pass.

With Tyson especially, it sometimes felt like he leaned into the “bipolar” label as a catch-all explanation for everything, and that can turn into rationalising behaviour instead of addressing the real drivers. And honestly, spend enough time around John and that kind of environment and most people will end up reaching for something as a coping mechanism just to tolerate it.

Tyson’s diagnosis also came after a three-year bender when his career was left in limbo – fail a test, disappear from the ring, then it’s uppers, downers and everything in between. That sort of cycle will play havoc with anyone’s brain chemistry and can mimic “bipolar” symptoms even without a strong genetic piece. Genetics might load the gun, but environment usually pulls the trigger.

Same pattern with Tommy using booze as the explanation for everything, Big John’s probably got a whole bible of excuses too, wouldn’t shock me if he starts carrying one, Russell Brand style.

I genuinely think it runs in the family which isnt that unusual. John spoke about it a few years back. Saying it was documented as far back as his great grandad. I dont think mental health really excuses behaviour but i,ve seen enough without being an expert to think they have a genuine issue with it.

Even Tysons behaviour. Hes all over the place at times. I do think its a genuine problem and it always has been. The boxings kept him on the straight and narrow for the most part but his behaviour for me anyway defo points towards bipolar. I just dont think people really see the other side of it because hes usually pretty upbeat when hes got a fight signed etc.

Whenever i feel down i go to you tube and watch replay of Henry Akinwande beating the total crap out of John Fury. Really cheers me up.

John Fury is a sad fat ugly scumbag who resorts to cowardly eye gouging to "win" streetfights.

If you want another satisfying one, watch the Steve Garber fight as well – same story, getting lined up and tagged with the straight right over and over.

it looks like anytime someone behaves like a nob head, they just need to say it’s a mental health blip and you all forgive it. Naive

No ones saying hes allright hes just got mental health issues. I m saying hes a knobhead....he does have mental health issues tho as does the son.

We might be saying they act like that because of the mental health issues. We,re still saying hes a nobhead tho.

I dont think grown adults should be excused for their behaviour mental health problems or not. He,ll still be judged as a nobhead. Probably more reason he needs to get himself some help. Hes acting erratic. The son acts erratic. I think the sons had more help than John has.
