Yep, his one-two down the pipe was catching Holyfield something rotten at such an age.

Tubbs and Butterbean have all time great hand speed, "pound for pound".

At and near his peak maybe but he didn’t look very fast in his fights against Michael Spinks. Constantly being beaten to the punch and unable to pulled the trigger fast enough against Spinks, especially in the first fight.

Patterson, Louis and Ali stand out.

Holmes, Dokes, Tubbs and Page were also very fast at their best.

Tubbs handspeed wasn`t quicker than Tyson`s during their bout.

I felt Larry was really bad v Spinks, he really looked off, not sharp at all.

Ali, Patterson, Tyson, Dokes and Tubbs were all very quick handed.

Evander Holyfield is underrated in terms of handspeed too. When he was unleashing those combinations they were accurate, correct and very, very fast.

I don't know. It looked fairly comparable for that one completed round that they had. In fact people were joking afterwards that Tubbs made have actually shaded that round by being just a bit quicker and so the funny headline they came up with was Tyson, for the first time in his career had to come from behind and win. LOL.

Greg Page, at his best, was very fast, and way faster than some mentioned in this topic.
