Now i like watching samller guys like pacman and hatton fight from time to time and even a few heavyweight bouts but my fave weight division is middleweight to cruiser. so what are the biggest fights for this year that everyones hoping for?
Taylor-Froch is probably the biggest one that's been confirmed so far. We all have to wait and see what's happening with Kessler and his bust up with Palle and I don't really expect him to be in any good fights until that's settled which is a shame 'cos he could fight either the Froch/Taylor winner or AA. AA-Pavlik is the only potential fight at MW that's worth getting excited about. I'd like to see Bute have a unification fight with someone, even Balszay but haven't heard any talk of one. A lot of people seem to be after Adamek and hopefully he'll get it on with Maccrinelli and/or Hopkins this year. There seems to be loads of good fights that could be made but all the usual **** will probably stop most of them.

Yeah, it would be a great domestic fight, but I don't think Hide will win the WBC belt. I reckon him and macca should just get it on anyway after all their bitching a few months back. I'd love to see that, there are few better sights in boxing than Hide getting KTFO'd.

Assuming that Dawson bests Tarver again in their May 9 rematch (who doesn't?), I'm curious about who they will be able to come up with for him to fight next. Many, myself included, would enjoy him giving Glen Johnson another shot given the thin margin by which he defeated him in 2008. If that fight does not come through, then what? Other than Hopkins, there isn't much at 175, and Hopkins seems set on challenging Adamek for the cruiserweight championship. HBO is not bringing him on to fight someone like Diaconu, which is not to say I wouldn't enjoy seeing Dawson silence that vocal minority who thinks it would be a competitive bout. I suppose someone could move up from 168, but who? It almost certainly would not be Kessler or Bute. Maybe the winner of Taylor/Froch?

yes yes....i want kessler to man up and fight another top shelf opponent. i would love to see taylor beat froch and then fight kessler in the fall/winter. hell i would love to see the winner of AA and Pav fight kessler. for all the talent at smw and poised to go up to smw, its kingpin doesnt fight anyone and has lost the only time he fought someone worth a damn. i also would love to see hopkins/dawson. i don't particularly want to see hopkins take on a cruiserweight version of pavlik but i would still watch it.
