IMO most people are blinded by kermit's bitchass'ness that they're totally overlooking the fact that el perro's open and just ripe for cintrons right hand.
Richard Guiterrez had Angulo on ***** street, I'm pretty sure Cintron is a bigger puncher and can put Angulo's lights out. Not to say I think he will, but I don't think Angulo has Margarito's chin in all honesty. I see this as Angulo being about a 2:1 favorite, Cintron does have the eraser. I agree with most here that if he doesn't hurt or get Angulo out of there early, he is going to lost in brutal fashion.
If Cintron is there mentally, which a big if, I think he takes this fight. I'll go against the consensus and take Cintron.
How long till this starts? Having trouble working out the GMT start time, I know it's 9:45 for some of you guys over there.
If Cintron doesn't break down and cry tonite then he has a chance. He has some advantages over Angulo but I don't think he has the heart to hang in there when it gets tough.
Good win. I thought he was going to get KO while trying to hold, but he won clearly. I understand why Angulo's group took the risk. Cintron didn't look good in his last 3 fights. They took a chance, but Kermit has improved his boxing a lot.
Yeah, that is what a lot of us thought. Angulo just seemed so impressive prior to this fight, kind of like a Jr. MiddleWeight Chris Arreola.
I based my opinion more on what Cintron lacked as oppose to what Angulo has shown. I just didn't trust that Cinton could put it all together for a fairly complete boxing performance such as the one he had last night. Props to him, and props to the Angulo camp for taking such a risk and putting Alfredo in there with dangerous and experienced fighters so early in his career. Not a bad loss for Angulo because he'll learn from this and return smarter, and better than ever.
