Aj has built his entire career around not fighting wilder and fury. Batsht insane to suggest that changes now he’s back to knocking over bums like Franklin
He will get Franklin out quick though. Within 6 rounds. Joshua isn't at the level of the Usyks and Furys of the world but he is still a cut above most of the division and will handle the likes of Franklin comfortably.
If Joyce and Joshua win there fights that should be the title eliminator for the winner out of Fury or Usyk.
Since 2018 Fury has fought Seferi, Pianeta, Wilder, Schwarz, Wallin, Wilder, Wilder, Whyte and Chisora. In that same period Joshua has fought an undefeated, prime World Champion Joseph Parker, became the first man to stop Alexander Povetkin as a mandatory, Andy Ruiz Jr twice, Kubrat Pulev as a mandatory, and the Pound for Pound number 1 Oleskandr Usyk twice.
There is no shame in losing to an elite boxer Usyk but the rest are in reality very poor opponents. Time to get in with Wilder next to restore some pride.
Let's have it right Parker was later found out to be very average and just in the right place at the right time to hold a world title And Pulev lost to Chisora not long after
Parker regressed severely after Joshua beat him. After Pulev lost to Joshua he was fighting MMA fighters in a Triad competition. Most people thought he beat Chisora too. I had it 116-112 for Pulev.
Regressed? No, he just wasn't as good as he was made to be Pulev and Del was close but life and death with Del tells you all you need to know And cmon that MMA farce was just an easy payday for Pulev that lasted less than a round Hardly anything to gauge him on
Parker regressed are you haveing a laugh mate parker was never worse than he was against joshua absolute crap my nephew paid for it and he spuked his money up the bloody wall absolute joke and pulev dont get me started he turned his back and run away to the corner ffs what sort of boxer is that he was 40 and so was povetkin who took count by david price
I have a feeling this will be Joshua's farewell fight. His heart is not in it anymore, the fans have left him and the gravy train has stopped. He'll either lose or look bad winning in front of a quiet half-empty arena. Eddie will probably make a sentimental speech how he has already cemented his legacy as an ATG and there was nothing left to prove anyway.
Would be a really underwhelming end of a career, I think he's got one good run left in him still. If he drops the entourage of morons and sticks with one trainer he'll have a much better chance. Personally I don't think he should have dropped McCracken who has gotten a lot of unnecessary flack for the first loss to Usyk.
You mean Fury and Wilder ducked AJ on multiple offers throughout his career. Whilst AJ has beaten the next best fighters in division to Fury, some of whom are better and more proven Wilder.
You're mad. The arena won't be half empty come fight night, it will be packed to the rafters. He's going to destroy Franklin, knock him out within 6 rounds. Will wait to see what you got to say then.
Obviously it'll be full come fight night and I agree Joshua will KO Franklin within 6, probably less. I am surprised that it hasn't sold out though. I never thought a Joshua fight would have such little demand.
