More than EXPECTED in terms of British I don't think it gets bigger than Carl Froch.

An overachiever is someone who maximises limited skill and achieves more than their talent should allow, rather than how they were "expected" to do by most.

it's not a label most fighters would embrace though lol, I'd say over-achievers might be the likes of Paul Malignaggi and Steve Robinson, no disrespect to either, but those types

Olympic silver medalist, and European amateur champion in his mid-late teens, Khan may actually be an underachiever in the pros if you think about it.

Its in the Am's or Pro's, more so the pro's because of the no headguard.

He is so flawed as a fighter its beyond belief, he has got by, purely on his speed.

    That to me is overachieving.

I understand, I mean this is the same kid who got dragged through the trenches by a shot to **** Michael Gomez, he is that vulnerable to inside fighters and always was, but if you actually look at his amateur record, and some of his amateur fights, he was an amazing young prodigy a one time.

And I admit I am saying this in hindsight, I was a major critic of the kid when he first turned over and through the majority of his career he was that softly handled.

I put a bet on Breidis Prescott cus he was the first guy Khan had fought with a good KO record (who wasn't a short super feather) and was bigger than him, that was unheard of.
