Its hilarious how many people jumped off the train. I am still very much in favor of Keith vs Mayweather over Khan/Porter/Berto. Khan almost got turfed by pillow paws Algieri, Porter is a wild swinging poor mans tyson, and ytksab if you think Berto deserves the fight.

Thurmamania still runnin wild! Haters gonna hate

I still think Kieth Thurman is still one of the most deserving welterweights after beating the likes of Karass, Bundu, Diaz and Guerrero in the fashion he did . . . . that being said I think the main reason he had trouble with Collazo was because he made the mistake of overlooking an opponent and instead calling out Mayweather. He took his eye of the ball and got nailed with a good shot but luckily Collazo seemed to quit likely not wanting to take any more punishment or was hoping that hed have a chance on the scorecards had it gone to a technical decision . . . . something that backfired obviously.

Thurman is starting to annoy me a little though with the 3rd person talk and I noticed rewatching the guerrero fight he doesnt try to throw combinations and counters anymore and instead relies on single power shots that leave him wide open.

I hope personally that Khan faces off against Thurman next as they are both in need of a big win to secure a mayweather bout next year should he fight on and its an intriguin matchup.

On one hand Khan has the handspeed and movement to dominate Thurman not to mention the power to possibly drop/stop him however with Thurmans power combined with Khans chin the same could be said vice versa. Its a pure pick em fight

He's not that tough. An old shot guy got a piece of him and rather than Luis look bad coming out he just says he can't see and he's worthy of another big fight and Thurman gets the win and Heymon has to entities that he can promote. Win Win for both fighters...

I still believe in Thurman, just also believe he had an off night and is still a work in progress. I have my doubts about him becoming top P4P though.

Indeed maybe Thurman overlooked Collazo but I think its more about Thurman's flaws.I think Thurman has to improve a lot in defense, footwork and inside fighting departments. He gets sloppy and careless sometimes. Also he tends to fall in love with his power which is a big mistake.

Thurman is very sloppy and gets hit too much for me. Spence would beat him going away.

Yet you reference the time PBF got hit by Maidana and make a big deal out of it, hilarious.

Was a fan before the fight, still a fan now.

Yeah he's vulnerable at times and I'm fine with that. Yeah he sometimes likes to get on his bike and I am fine with that too as long as he is still letting his hands go. He's exciting at times, can box or bang, has charisma out of the ring, doesn't claim to be TBE or embrace all the early hype some fans were poring on him, and he is willing to fight anyone even if it means a good chance of losing his 0. Bottom line he is fairly powerful and fairly skilled young champion who is also still a bit green and learning a lot from each of his fights.

I was making a point that even the best defensive fighter in business gets hit sometimes.:good In this sport it happens.

He may have a glass body, but he has bigger issues here. The guy was throwing and missing so many wide ass amateur Haymakers against a fighter who wasn't even throwing punches!!! WTF? He would punch and run, against a below avg. puncher who wasn't even letting his light fist go.

Thurman would have likely gotten flattened by a top WW or Jr. MW last night.

Thurmans a good fighter, he's shown alot in the ring during his fights. Recovery, smart, can punch, when hurt he knows how to survive that moment, good movement.. good fighter. you'v just got to ignore the trolls.

Trolls? A shot Shane Mosley looked like a Ray Leonard against a younger prime Collazo.

Thurman vs Collazo looked like two fighters from FNF.

Thurman focused too much on Floyd during his training camp and most likely had him on his mind during the fight. It's really just a matter of Thurman not being 100% there and taking this fight seriously. This can't happen vs A class fighters or the will steam roll right over him. Even a B class fighter like Errol Spence Jr.
