I didnt realise his fight with Adamak was so soon, looking forward to it. So many modern heavyweights don't fight the elite in the division and if they do its usually a loss to Klit and mabye a decent win. Look at Chris Arreola's record. Look at Tony Thompson's record. Tomasz Adamak only has a win over Arreola- the rest are top 20 guys at best. Ruslan Chagaev and Sultan Ibrgamivov hardly had stellar resumes. Yet when Eddie Chambers fights next saturday he can add the name Tomasz Adamak to wins over Alexander Dimentriko, Samuel Peter, Calvin Brock. Some of these harddly had brilliant resumes but they where all legit top 10 at the time of fighting. He also lost to Povetkin as well as, of course, a Klitschko. He desrves credit for earning a top 10 ranking unlike many others who are there through the thinness of the division.
Me too, I don't like Adamak's last performance. Im listening to a interview with him on the On The Ropes boxing podcast and its a great interview he seems so dialled in and is just a great guy overall. I'm gonna check out his last fight, I missed it against Rossi. I didn't realise he had so many fights.
Its gonna be a good, close fight. That I am reasonably sure about. Two very skilled, fast fighters. I am picking Chambers, too, by split decision win.
Chambers is betting underdog.. http://www.oddschecker.com/boxing-mma/boxing/tomasz-adamek-v-eddie-chambers/winner
Woulden't make for a change, Chambers has a unsually high number of MD and SD's on his record. Must be his style?
I struggle to understand that really. Adamak is good ans has showed improvements in boxing, but if his defense is as poorous as his last fight, a jab will be in his face all night long and he won't like it.
