cotto is starting to **** me off. I know he's a classy guy and usually lets his team pick his opponents and all that, but come on man, ffs, call out mayweather already. It worked out for hatton, why not try it? I know mayweather agreed to fight hatton cause he knew (and everyone else except for the hatton diehards) that he'll win, but why not try? its the best fight he can get right now and I'm sure as hell that he can handle mayweather and he's not scared of him, then why not take this small step of calling mayweather out? it'll benefit cotto a lot if this fight takes place soon.

Puerto Rico doesn't have that sort of buying power meaning Floyd doesn't get paid as much. Hatton was an easy opponent for Floyd. Cotto isn't.

So you're asking him to take less money to fight a much stronger opponent. Instead he can fight Oscar again, make a ton and have a relatively easy fight. That's called a business decision.

If Cotto can take down Mayorga and Margarito, then maybe he'll claim enough billing to make the fight. Don't forget that Top Rank/Bob Arum and Floyd aren't exactly on great terms at the moment thus negotiations won't be easy at all.

Cotto is a grown ass man without any worries in the world. He is laid back chillin and letting his career take its course. No worries no stress no nothing, Cotto is all about getting the job done. Cotto has said previously he wants PBF but fights who Arum sets up. Thats the deal always ahas been. Now Floyd wants to play GRUMPY OLD MEN games with Arum and will fight DLH/Hatton 2's which could take 2 years.

In the mean time Arum's gonna keep his game moving forward and will put Cotto vs Margarito together if Floyd does as he does. Arum's attitude now is that it wont happen because Floyd wont talk about it and Arum owes Floyd Money.

I'd like to take a moment to point out the fact that Emmanuel Steward is an average, if that, trainer. He is not some boxing God as many believe.
