I actually thought JC would win more easily, but it just goes to show you what Hopkins 2.0 is all about. He is no joke, and his size and strength surprised me and it obviously suprised Joe as well.

The fight I really, really want to see is Jones-Hopkins II, but Jones will never make that fight, as we all know.

I would love to see both Pavlik and Jones fight Calzaghe. Joe beats them both, for different reasons. I LOVE Pavlik, but Joe would beat him with speed and combos. What you saw Hopkins do to Joe tonight Pavlik could not do; he is not strong enough nor crafty enough to do it. And that is a huge statement to the greatness of Hopkins.

Jermaine Taylor would be KO'd, and very hard and fast, against Calzaghe. He would be out-sped with Joe, and his chin would not last. Think Byron Mitchell. Taylor has a big heart, but his chin is not near what Jeff Lacy's is.

I think Joe fights 2 more fights -- RJJ and KP. 3 if Taylor wants to be KTFO. Then he hangs them up, undefeated record intact, and goes on to make movies somewhere with Marvin Hagler

I love Bernard Hopkins. He is one of my all-time favorite fighters and there are definitely those who felt he won the fight, so that makes me happy.

Who does he fight? Maybe he takes on Pavlik, thinking he could school the younger fighter. I could see Hopkins catching and hurting Pavlik and maybe getting a TKO. But the chances are that Pavlik would outwork him and win via UD.

I would also be game to watch Hopkins-Kessler, but if I were Kessler, I would not make that fight.

Maybe Hopkins takes out Dawson. With Dawson's defense, that shouldn't be too hard, even at Hopkins' age.

This fight was better than I thought it would be, and as the title suggests, I give HUGE props to both men for making this fight and for delivering the best they could. Great stuff.

Hopkins uses all his strengths and nullifies his opponents'. Wish he didn't clinch at every opportunity tho'.

Great adjustments by Joe after the first round shock. Didn't have him winning personally, but completely respect the cards and extend my congratulations to the victor.

Props to both guys. There's been a fair amount of **** talk both ways, but at the end of the day, both Calzaghe and Hopkins fought hard and deserve respect.

Hopkins can't make 160 anymore and even if he could, Pavlik's camp wouldn't be interested in fighting him. Doesn't make much since for him when they could pull in better money fighting someone like John Duddy, and it'd probably be a whole hell of a lot easier anyways.

    That said, respect to both.
