Not going to comment too much on the judging (scum Julie Lederman was at it again, what a shocker), it was a close fight but Lopez did what he had to do, it looked like Loma was taking over in the 2nd half of the fight but Teofimo came out guns blazing in the last round and came out victorious. Respect to Lopez.

    I scored it 115-113 for Lopez (

) but could see either 116-112 or 114-114.

It's one of those fights where even if the fighter lost, I have to give him his due respect. There was a huge size difference, Loma looked like he belonged 2 divisions below, he also faced an opponent with superior speed, strength and 1-punch KO power, on top of being very skilled. He was down on points big time after 6-7 rounds, and still he accepted the risks of being KO'd and went all in or nothing in the 2nd half, displayed a true champ mentality and still won rounds while walking through fire, on pure skill and determination. At times it looked like he had to get through Lopez' reach dodge a punch, score one or two of his own, and dodge again on his way out. I'm sure that he probably feels like he won, but no shame at all in his performance, big respect for him.

After all he came to a weight class where everybody looks like a giant compared to him, he clearly doesn't belong at lightweight. He did manage to win 3 out of 4 belts and prevail against bigger, more explosive guys but he never looked like a matrix at lightweight, and that's what happens where you go too high in weight, there are weight divisions for a reason.

He's still a pound for pound one of the best fighters in the world, going down as an all-time great, nothing but respect for Lomachenko.

The right thing to do would be go back down to super-featherweight, try to win a belt or two and hopefully a super-fight between Loma and Stevenson could be eventually set up in future.

Give Lopez 10 years extra experience he would stop Loma

He only started to falter as his footwork slowed as he tired. His static defence needs a little work, too busy try to shoulder roll like Floyd which takes years to master.

No, thank you. No respect for someone who, once he realizes that he cant do **** in the fight, starts looking for heabuts to cut his oponent's face and has nothing else but that. Disgraces like this imbecile can destroy careers.

Respect? respect for sportmen, not for scumbags. It was disgusting to witness, I guess his ego could not deal with the reality of being destroyed while everybody looking. Disgusting.

And I honestly didnt think that lomachenko was this kind of scumbag. I was wrong, sad.

Lomachenko tried and even took desperate risks and left himself open but still, Lopez was the bigger, stronger and better man.

Big big respect for me. I’m still a big Loma fan. Don’t understand why he’s getting hate when he never quit, he just couldn’t get the ball rolling until late but ultimately lost the better man.

Southpaw vs. orthodox frequently results in headbutts when they're in close. There was 1 or 2, maybe 3. Hardly a tactic being used.

you must think that the people in this forum are idiots.

You must consider yourself a very smart guy.

Even a mentally handicapped blind man saw easilly what headbutshenko was doing from roun 8 on. It was disgusting.

    Respect?. **** off!!!

It is true that I think you and a handful of others on this forum are idiots. Doesn't change the fact that I didn't see Lomachenko intentionally using his head.

YDKSAB If you think those butts were intentional. They clearly were not. As Pakkuman said when fighting a southpaw theyre bound to happen especially when the fighters are coming forward as Loma started to do. Thanks for showing everybody you dont know wtf youre talking about.
