Well done to Keith Mayo and his team for the show they put on in Torquay last night. Bigger crowd than last show in same venue, really good atmosphere and 6 very competitive fights. I've been to quite a few small hall shows and you often get the home fighters against a guy who's come to lose, and while there's a place for the likes of Greaves, Nesbitt, Seawright and others it's good to see genuine match-ups, good matchmaking. Last time there was the runner-up for British fight of the year with Mark McCullough v Dean Mills and last night the fight between Ibrar Riyaz and Jamie Speight was a belting rematch. Riyaz record is pretty poor and Speight's not got any stoppages but they put on a great show. I know that titles are can be a joke but they did the International Masters title proud, whatever it is.
