Shut the fuck up, idiot.

Ruiz is overweight, as his baseline. For his entire pro boxing career. He debuted at just a few pounds shy of 300, ffs. Generally boxing is a game of inches when it comes to weight, slight variances having a big impact on performance. In pretty much ever division except heavyweight that is - from straw through cruiser. When you're routinely up in the mid to high 260's, as Ruiz has been for most of his time contending, that extra 5% of body mass really isn't having the major effect that 15lbs (or, making it proportionate, getting fatter by 5%...so, let's say, a super middleweight caking on 8lbs and technically missing the next limit up, LHW, by a pound) would have for non-HWs.

Your statement tells me that you have no grasp of nuance or the idea of a bite point after which the addition of weight has less proportionate impact than would the same addition for smaller fighters.

There seems to be an assumption he's only put on fat. Some of that extra weight could be muscle mass too. His arms and chest are big by anyone's measure...

I am also hearing rumors that Ruiz lost alot of weight in camp remember the picture of him looking skinny? his trainers wanted him to carry on with weight but didnt like how he felt so ate alot of food in a race against time to get back some weight this cant be good for you>.....................

i completely agree, it will make the fight that much more compelling for sure.

can Joshua execute the game plan, it’s possible ... doesn’t hurt that Ruiz is coming in heavier & AJ lighter... compelling story line leading up to fight.

And what if he doesn't hurt Joshua? Joshua only got hurt because of a temple shot, which could hurt any good chin Boxer.

He took a stupid gamble, he's not fighting a cab driver...he fighting a former Olympia...he should at least kept it a 268...the weight he won the titles at. Ruiz is living the life and got lazy...because Ruiz relies on hand speed, pressuring his opponent and combination punching, his stamina will let him down.

Ruiz is only human, fighting at this high of a level requires discipline.

You cant put 15 pounds of muscle in 3 months you cant even do that in a year except if you are newbie and you might gain that amount but in a year.

    Ruiz weight is all fat

    I’ll spell it out simply.

You claimed Ruiz is lazy. you also claimed Ruiz will weigh over 300lbs tomorrow after weighing in at 282lbs. So what you are saying is Ruiz must have drained himself over 18lbs to make 282lbs which would have required immense effort. So you’ve completely contradicted yourself.

No idea why you think any heavyweight would drain themselves to make a self imposed weight limit though, bizarre statement.

So why tf did you say that Ruiz would weigh 300lbs on fight night? You think he's cutting weight for aesthetic reasons? Serious mongolery here...
