Has anyone been to a 80,000+ stadium to see a boxing event? There are some cheap tickets in the gods at Cardiff. But not sure we'd be able to see anything?
Went to last fight vs Takam, you can see barely anything in the ring. But the big screen allows you to see everything, not as clearly as watching at home but good enough. I just watched the screen.
Yes I went to Wembley to see Froch-Groves II. I had seats in the second tier and still struggled to see properly, had to rely on the big screens but they were so far away too that it was impossible to score the fight. Had to watch it on my PC after to score the fight before the KO. I wouldn’t do it again although it was good fun and the atmosphere was electric. I’d only do a stadium fight with floor seats at least in the future.
Huge stadium fights like that I think are better to watch on TV or if not just for the atmosphere and overall fun of being there but unless you have the super expensive arena tickets you wont see sh**t and will have to rely on the big screen
As said you can't really see much, it's about being there With the atmosphere more than being able to see the fight. You'll be watching it on the big screen if you want to see anything of note.. But the atmosphere in the stadium will be electric.. go for it if you haven't experienced it. Just for the atmosphere and the awesome stadium that is the millennium stadium... Cymru am byth....
Does this website have a writer going? If not, I'd suggest you ask the site to request a media credential for you. You could sit ringside and then write an article about your experience. Sitting in the worst media section seat is the same as sitting in a seat that costs several thousand dollars. And it's free.
