PAC beating Barerra > Floyd entire career / plus fighting Canelo

Fighter Of The Decade > not the fighter of the decade

Cotto? He put on a consistently great series with JMM, but he had already made that step.

Pac's been in a ton of great fights, but definitely threw in some duds as well.

Pac hasn't fought a comparable opponent in terms of what it means for legacy since Cotto in 2009.

How so? He fought marquez for the 4th time knowing that only marquez poses the biggest threat.

If fighting your arch rival for the fans and the nay sayers to get rid of all doubts isnt stepping up i dont know what is.

And to be honest Floyd needed Canelo as we all know Canelo has a much bigger fanbase than what that C+ fighter Guerrero had. The ppv numbers for guerrero is still questionable. And showtime still not releasing any numbers adds to that effect.

But for this fight I've got a whole new level of respect for Floyd for taking this risky fight once after so many years.

    :good

That's also the last time Pacquiao has beat a champion for a title.

The last time Pacquiao won a title without a catch weight: Hatton.

Disclaimer before ******* Nation responds: I'm just stating the facts. Not giving my opinion about the fights.

Rios will show why Pacquiao hasn't stepped up in years.
