He fought for a pay day. God knows how that carp was main event. Just because fighters are from the same town don't mean they are the same level. Hearns knows his foolish gullible sheep docile minded British audience well though, you gotta give him that. He can sell any old can fest just so long as he dresses it up with www type promos and give Buffer extra few bob then the dumb brits will all flock. Then when they're favourite boxer gets dismantled he can take comfort knowing that they won't ever see him as the bum chancer fraud that he is, but rather a 'brave' 'heroic', 'determined' soldier who fought for free and gave it everything
It seemed to me that they must of been working on jam n nudge az we saw mooresy working when it went in to there dressing room. Only thing is its step n jam not run at the guy. Tommy was probably just trying too hard and was getting the move wrong. It waz annoying though
If he was there solely to be paid, he would of stayed down in the second. The match was a local derby and also although favourite, Campbell was stepping up in class, so there was a bit of intrigue. The attendance looked pretty solid and the crowd was into the fight, so it seemed to work as an event. And yes Coyle took his beating and tried his best, he was 'brave' and he was 'determined', but I hope he did get paid (well). There was no 'bum' in that fight. Coyle is one of the finest 50 fighters in the Lightweight division, and it is now clear Campbell is ready for someone in the top 20 of the division. It was a good night for British boxing.
It is hopefully 'upwards' for Campbell. But there is no need to disrespect Coyle, who play his part in a good fight.
No disrespect here.... Why when a fighter gets schooled does sky sports butter them up to be warriors and brave...... Coyle was adement he e was going to ko campbell... If coyle wasnt signed with eddie he would of being getting slated
Why would SKY need to 'slate' him? Coyle did everything that could have been expected of him, but was not good enough. Because he gave it a go, he was given kudos. I agree, sometimes there are other motives for this sort of thing, but in this case, it is a show of respect for Coyle's contribution in a good final SKY bill of the domestic season.
