Jason Cook to fight Lenny Daws for the British light-welterweight title on Fri 12 Feb at York Hall, Bethnal Green, London.

Nathan Cleverly to contest the European light-heavyweight title on Sat 13 Feb at Wembley Arena, London.

Thinking about making a weekend of it in London. Anyone know if these fights are definately going ahead?

Two wins would give welsh boxing a massive lift and keep the momentum going after Gavin Rees's triumph in Prizefighter.

    Thoughts?

Daws vs Cook that could be a great fight. Styles should match up nicely hopefully Lenny will win but i look Cook.

Problem making a trip to see two shows nowadays is that fighters can pull out at any time if you fancy the risk then go for it.

Hopefully Cook v Dawes will be a great fight with a welsh victory!

Regarding the Cleverly fight something fishy went on with the postponement of the fight in Italy.

Yeah i think someone mentioned it in a other thread can't remember what the reason was but it's a lot better for Clev to be fighting here then over there although EBU judges have been known to travel into lions den and rob the home fight...Damien Kelly springs to mind.
