Bigger Cheater Mosely or Margarito??

Marg literally took a weapon into the ring. A brick in his gloves.
He rightly got a suspension. Roid users (mosely ,roy jones ,etc) should have been treated in the same fashion.

 

Fuc# That S#it, I'm still a fan of both as fighters, even though I hate the "cheating" they both have been found guilty of.

But I will **** on any hypocrite who has the audacity to vilify one while trying to make excuses for the other:deal

 

Thanks man I did not know that. I thought he was on that THG that was all the craze back then. EPO will no doubt give a fighter a big advantage in a fight. There was a famous fight which I can not remember the name of the fighters. But the guy in the corner was saying give me a certain bottle for the fighter to drink and the boxer came out mysteriously in the later rounds with huge amounts of energy.

 

I never make any excuses for Mosley. That idea is pretty funny as Mosley fanboys have gotten mad at me numerous times when I point out that he's a cheat. I've always been critical of his cheating, and the fact that people give him a pass because he just smiles all the time and says he passed a lie-detector test. As if people just happen to fly across the state to inject themselves in the stomach with "legal supplements".

I'm not a fan of either, because of the cheating. Your belief is "a cheat is a cheat". I can see why people see it that way, but I don't. Margarito's act was worse IMO and bothered me more.

 

Heres another thing Margarito was punished for attempting to load his gloves (rightfully so) Mosley was proven to have used illegal enhancers. Like someone else already said I'm a fan of both, but why the double standard.

 

Keep in mind that Mosley didn't, out of his own conscience come forward to announce that he was juicing. The Balco Scam had been exposed via another athlete and to fight back Balco Representatives were going to release all the names of all the athletes using their wonder-drug. .......

Mosley had no choice but to come forward, because his name was on the list.

And just like Johnson {Sprinter} from Canada who lost all his medals ... M. Jones who went to jail & lost her medals ....... Mosley should have paid a price for juicing also.

But because Boxing is such a corrupt sport .... Mosley got a pass - when clearly he fought several fights on the JUICE.

 

Mosley was on "The Cream", "The Clear", and EPO.

The fight you are referring to is Pryor-Arguello 1.

 

The reason Mosley wasn't punished is because he went to a place that specialized (BALCO) in making undetectable performance enhancing drugs and wasn't caught by the commission.

If he was stupid like Toney and took drugs that stay in your system for a long time, he would've pissed dirty and gotten punished by the commission.

So basically, Mosley got lucky, because he was "slicker" in his cheating.

 

Both were terribe, and should be considered at the same level.

You said steroids can help improve hand eye coordination - not sure if that is accurate.

 

Good post man. I have to agree Mosley got off easy and I also follow Athletics so I know how hard those guys got punished. Mosley should pay back his earnings from all the fights he fought whilst using EPO, THG etc.

 

Both but Margarito was caught BEFORE using them and Mosley DID get to cheat.
