Bigger Cheater Mosely or Margarito??

Why would that be unfortunate? He is a known cheater and his wins SHOULD be called into question. Ol' Rockgloves should have his career wiped, as though he never existed in Boxing to begin with.

 

Mosley is a supremely talented fighter. Margarito has only been able to win based on loading his gloves. Margarito will never have a great career as Mosley has.

 

All speculation on the gloves previous to Mosley but I do agree with your last sentence.

 

Margo is the bigger cheater.

Mosley admitted to his use of EPO and The Cream and The Clear.

Although worse, it's nothing like making your punches harder.

Both are cheaters but Shane is the lesser of the two. Not to mention he was a far more proven fighter even before he started to use than Margo was.

Doesn't the fact that Mosley is a more talented fighter almost make it a worse offense? I've never defended Margarito, but I always wonder if one reason people are so much easier on Shane is because he's the better fighter. It seems like most don't even punish him in a ranking sense despite the fact he juiced in his biggest fight (and likely more besides that). People might give him a message board lashing every now and again, but never back that up by punishing him in rankings, whether current or ATG.

Imagine if it came out that Oscar was on steroids or other illegal performance enhancers. They'd ****ing shred him.

Come on man, think about it who would you rather be hit by:

Someone off the juice OR
Someone who can KILL you with loaded gloves

Margarito is MORE dangerous easily..

 

Also, a simple reality is that many DO NOT KNOW that Mosley was juicing. It wasn't as public as Margarito's transgression. Plus the WWW wasn't as active as it is today. If this had come out in 2009 via the WWW it would have spread like wildfire, the same way Margarito's story spread.

So. Mosley caught a big break there ..... But once Balco's chief publishes his book releasing the names & dates ..... A lot more will come out in to the light.
