Bowe's short lived reign as undisputed champion ended when in an act of pure cowardice, he threw his title in the garbage to avoid Lewis. Fury pulled out of his fight with Klitschko in June because of an allegedly injured ankle that he was seen jumping on a few days later. Now he pulls out again right before the pre fight VADA testing. Which champ was the bigger disgrace to the sport?

bowe is vastly overrated, but fury has fought no one his entire career. every bit the ducker as wilder, if not worse.

Bowe had incredible talent and perhaps could have been greater. But to use the word discrace is disgusting. He went through several wars against Holyfield and Golata. He gave his health to the sport and took punishment that has left him with permanent brain damage. What more do you want from a man?

In regard to Fury - if he does indeed suffer from mental health issues, your poll is again disgusting.

Fury and it's not even close. In fact Fury is by far the biggest joke I've ever seen in sports. He has postponed two fights and he has tested positive for drugs. How has this man not been stripped and suspended?

I don't like Bowe and thought that his dirty tactics and ducking of Lewis were disgraceful.

But on the flipside he did have some wars and showed courage when he rematched Golota who beat the snot out of him in their first fight. He also fought on in the second Golota fight when by any sane assessment the fight should have been stopped.

Fury is simply disrespecting the sport and the belts and has no upside to him. So, at this point, I'll take Fury as the bigger disgrace.

I'd say Fury. Bowe's reign may not have been covered in glory but at least he actually defended the title.

I always drew parallels between Bowe and Fury. I could see Fury's reign would be short, no fighter can balloon up in weight like he does and expect to be around for long but I didn't expect all these mental health issues to become such an issue and would force him to possibly quit and give up the belts. I expected a short reign but not this short.

can't call either a disgrace, Bowe's body betrayed him (partially his fault but nonetheless) and apparently Fury's mental stability betrayed him. Boxing is a world that can expose your liabilities like no other.

Fury beat Wlad quite easily in Wlads back yard, he achieved his dream and then was forced into a rematch right away which no-one wants to see because Wlad can't beat him, he has hardly any love of the sport and motivating himself for this fight is probably difficult especially if he has injuries and mental health issues.

Fury doesn't get the respect he deserves, he would trash any other HW and this is proven simply by the fact that he beat the guy who was easily beating everyone.

Where's the Deontay Wilder option? Oh, and let's not forget Charles Martin.

A lot of folk think that Wlad had mental problems himself going into that fight due to his home situation. If Fury beats him so easily, then he should simply rematch asap, stamp his name in history as the only man to 2-0 Wlad, and get on with the business of trashing the other HW's. The way he's carrying on now does not inspire confidence.
