curious what y'all think.. I feel some have lost respect for Canelo. I know he's big for Mexicans but I can;t help but think his stock has gone down a bit, while GGG maintains his stock with all groups, if not a slight uptick. I feel GGG walking away was a good thing for his reputation (maybe not so much his wallet but thats debatable).

Which fight do you rate as bigger for you as a boxing fan?

One is bigger in regards to audience (Viewer) size, one is bigger in terms of importance. Not hard to figure which one is which

Depends which way you mean it. To us GGG is obviously the bigger fight, its for all the titles. Canelo Jacobs does more money cuz Canelo is a cash cow. But then after Saunders last performance the British public have took interest. Have that fight in the UK, promote it loud and colourful and who knows how big it could be.

The unification fight to break the Hopkins record.

No way Clenelo fights Jacobs anyway.

BJS vs GGG is for all the marbles, clearly the more important fight.

Any fight involving Canelo will be the bigger revenue generator.

Canelo vs Jacobs obviously...GGG vs Saunders would be more important to boxing fans I'd imagine but it wouldn't be a "bigger" fight.

So I think there an argument for the two fights being close in $$$.

Jacobs isn't a draw at all and it's possible he brings no new buys to the table. It's a purely US fight in terms of money and can we honestly say anyone will buy the PPV with Jacobs on it that wouldn't buy any Canelo PPV?

GGG has a guaranteed fanbase in the states and is a big name elsewhere too. Sounders is possibly as interesting to the US market as Jacobs being the title holder who schooled Lemiuex. He then brings that UK/BT money and potentially makes it a PPV in the UK as well as the US.

Is Canelo really a big enough draw to do much more bank on his own than GGG & Sounders together? I think not.

It's notfor all the titles anymore :lol:Both Golovkin's mandatories would beat Saunders by the way.
