To be fair to RJJ before he went up to HW his punch resistance looked very decent. Watch the 1st Montell Griffin fight in which he took some very good hard shots when pinned in the corner.

 

Khan, and it's not even close. Jones' punch resistance only became an issue when he got older. In his prime, it was good enough when combined with his skills, to keep him from getting knocked out.

Khan, on the other hand, is a complete glass jawed fraud, who fights handpicked light-hitters so he won't get starched. The one time he didn't he got KTFO.

Khan, and it's not even close. Jones' chin never became an issue until he got old and his skills declined. Khan has one of the worst chins I've ever seen. When did you ever see a prime Jones get rocked by a JAB???
