Bigger Glass Jawed Fraud: Roy Jones or Amir Khan?

I agree, Roy had a decent jaw in his prime, by no means great, but good enough combined with his defense and reflexes.

Now, Roy certainly has a soft spot right behind the ear. Johnson and Green both hit him in almost the same spot. I think his ability to absorb punches has faded with most of the other things that made him great. The shot from Tarver was a great shot though.

Now Roy certainly cannot take a good punch, that is for sure.

 

Roy Jones Jr. never had an "Granite" chin but it was still good. Once he lost his health coming back down, he was finished. Chris Byrd even proved what happens when you do what Jones Jr. did.

I've probably said this already - but KHAN, and it's not even close.

 

Roy always had a Glass Jaw you deluded nuthugger. Roy in his prime never got hit with a punch that had full on muster on it, that's how good his reflexes were that when he did get "punched", they were always grazing punches that didn't do much.

The one and single time that Glass Jawed Roy did get hit with a flush punch with full on mustard on it against a non-puncher in Lou Dell Valle, Roy's legs turned into complete spaghetti and fell forward hard to the canvas.

Cotto has shown a good beard because he has gotten hit a lot due to having bad defense, against hard punchers like Zab and Mosley whereas Roy never got hit and the times he did get hit flush he either got knocked down or knocked the **** out.

 

Jones never faced a big puncher in his prime.
