Given what decorated and well-regarded amateur boxers all four men were, and the hype surrounding their debuts, it's remarkable how flat all their runs have fallen. But which sibling tandem feels more a colossal waste of talent?

On the one hand you have the Russians fighting in the orthodox stance, Dmitrii Alexandrovich "Night Wolf" Chudinov and Fedor Alexandrovich "The Classic" Chudinov.

On the other you have the Brazilian southpaws Esquiva "The Panther" Falcão Florentino and Yamaguchi "Gucci" Falcão Florentino.

Parallels abound. Each set of brothers was born one calendar year apart. Each debuted as almost a package deal; the Russians literally on the same Comcast Sports Net undercard (aww!) and the Brazilians just three weeks apart. Each campaigned in the amateurs and professionals in primarily the MW range.

...and each produced a bevy of dull wet fart performances.

In terms of pugilistic achievement, it's sort of a wash. Each set has something to boast of the other doesn't.

Falcãos had the superior credentials in the amateurs with both claiming Olympic medals, unlike the Chudinovs - Yamaguchi bronze and Esquiva silver, both in London in 2012. Neither has captured professional gold, however, while Dmitrii has been interim WBA middleweight champ and Fedor interim, regular, and "super" WBA champion at 168lbs.

Is there a politically correct update for the old saying "out-arguing someone on the internet (or, insert any other dumb endeavor) is like winning the special olympics..." (you either remember the rest, or you can google it :sisi1) yet? there has to be, surely?

...anyway, that sentiment applies to whichever brother tandem's pro run has been the relatively less disappointing.
