Fury is the only guy who has been punched by both (out of the gym), so he holds the secret to this mystery, if only people could get him to stop bullshitting for long enough to establish the truth. That radio call interview before the Wilder rematch Fury seemed to say something like 'Wilder don't hit harder than Wlad', but it was a bit muffled and someone translated it in an article as 'Wilder hit harder than Wlad'.

I would guess the general RH power is similar and the LH power is with Wlad. Though Wilder apparently has a powerful jab too. And it's possible Wilder's leaping RH's edge Wlad's if they land, but only because Wlad doesn't Happy Gilmore his punches.

A lot of people here loves to bash Klitschko for that and that. But lets wait and see where Fury, Wilder and Joshua will be at 39-41 years old.
Last time i see prime Klitschko it was in 2013, against Pianeta, or maybe 2012 against Wach.
Since Manny he start declining in every component, of course the age plays big factor here as well.
But almost 39 years old Klitschko beat an undefeated contender, who was rock solid in Pulev face, and Pulev was prime there.
Wilder in his best day was scared to face a living body on the ring, what about when he hit 38 years old ?
Will Fury be able to walk at 38 years old ?
And Joshua won`t be able to have cardio for 2 rounds at that age.
Klitschko in his prime days have it all, speed, explosiveness, power, technique, footwork and big ring IQ.
Wilder in his best days have just 1 right hand, that we all know was KO everyone around, but the so call everyone around was low quality opposition and they were not prime young hungry fighters, that are coming for the win, not just for the money.

Did you not watch the Pulev fight? Wlad was terrific and looked as good as ever in that fight which was only 1 year prior to the Fury loss.

    AJ took Wlads best shot

Wlad passed the torch onto AJ as the next king of the division, not Fury.

    AJ is the true successor.

AJ doesn`t have Wilder`s power, Ruiz took his best shots.

Wlad landed on the cheek of Joshua not chin. So not his best punch.

Nobody in the history of boxing ever punched harder than Wilder does, if he caught AJ the way Wlad did he would have flattened him.

This is just an opinion that you can't possibly prove. Guys who have sparred and fought Wlad all attest to his power. There was a long-time sparring partner who did rounds with all the big punchers of the 90's/early 00's including Tua, Lewis, Morrison etc and he said Wlad's power was on another level. I'm more likely to believe him than some random on a boxing forum who I don't even know has ever been in the ring.

To be fair it's not just you though, so nothing personal.

    Is the question:

    a) one, single punch with one hand

    b) total package of both hands

    ?

    This is important to verirfy.

    If it s a, i say Wilder
    If it s b, i say Wlad

I can give you some numbers about this, but i can not prove if the sources are correct:

    Wilder:
At the weigh in Wilder-Fury 2 the guys from ESPN showed a short clip, claiming Wilders punchpower was measured.

    Wlad:
The german paper "Bild", which is maybe like the "Mirror" in the UK, stated in 2009 before the Wlad-Chageav fight, Wlads punchpower was measured too.

Results (both punching with their right hand):
    Wilder -> 1360 lb / 616 kg / 97 stone
    Wlad -> 882 lb / 400 kg / 63 stone

    PS:
The hardest strike i ve ever seen measured was in the show "Fight Science" by the Taekwondo 5th degree blackbelt Bren Foster.
It was not a punch of course, but a kick.
    Result (Kick):
    Foster: 2300 lb / 1043 kg / 164.25 stone

That beats Wilder and Wlad by a mile.

    Here you can see it:
