Bigger Punch: Wladimir Klitshchko or Deontay Wilder?

If they're allowed to wind up and punch a wall, then maybe Wilder for all we know.

But what they have shown in the ring; Wladimir all day baby.

 

Was that your first Klitschko match you ever watched? Klitschko looked old in that match. The jab wasn`t there, the right hand wasn`t there, only the left hook, but it wasn`t as fast and as explosive as usual.
Klitschko also paced himself and throw very little punches, which is unfamiliar to him.
The guy was one of the most active fighters in terms of throwing/landing punches and accuracy.
In his later fight he tend to clinch where more, where it`s not even necessary.

Just because he KO Pulev in the 5 and spectacular, doesn`t mean he was as good as he ever was.
And maybe there is not difference between 25 and 26 years old, but its big difference from 38 to 39 years old
The jab was gone and it was obvious in the Pulev fight, more obvious in the Jennings fight and clear as a say in Fury fight. Both in Fury and in Joshua fight he was missing a lot of punches, which never happen to him.
It was obvious why.
And Klitschko hurt Pulev big time with the left hook in the first, and instead of finish him, he allowed him to stay till the 5.
Same thing happen with Joshua, but Joshua comeback and won the fight.
And this is because Klitschko was very much past his prime and his attribute has declined a lot. Not the same fighter anymore.

 

At 37 Wlad brutally KOed Pulev. Wilder never KOed anybody near Pulev's level even in early 30s.

Also Pulev fight was almost 3 years before Fury and not 1 if I'm not mistaken.

Only against poor opposition that can’t wait to voluntarily fall over then has zero, zip, nada, no ambition to get up!

 

His opposition is not comparable to Wlad's.

 

C'mon Mark, Wilder might not be the best puncher right now. Let alone ever.

 

Wilder never hit anybody who wanted to get up, other than Fury and look at what happened there

 

The left hook is a much shorter punch. People struggle to see a a good short one coming and you know what they say about the ones you don't see coming.

 

Could you imagine wilder pulling off a technically superb left hand lead ko like wlad v Pulev. No way. Wlad is the harder puncher. You have two hands.

can’t have an average left and an elite right and say hardest ever.

Wilder might've hit a bit harder with the right hand but that's because he sells out 120% on all his punches. Wlad used textbook technique and didn't telegraph his shots.
