    What do we think?

AJ is a big puncher, showed it again in the Wallin fight where he beat the fight out of him quickly, but I think Zhang has a clear edge when it comes to punching power in both hands.

Hard to say really, but Joshua's power has been more tested against more top fighters.

But in the end does it matter who hits harder both have the power to stop the other.

I've going for big bang zhang for power, but AJ for skill/talent.

Zhang was able to KO Joyce which no fighter has really recently come close to doing. Joyce took huge shots from other fighters like parker and wasn't hurt yet Zhang really badly cracked him. I don't think AJ would do the same.

I still think that Zhang would lose to AJ. It's easy for Zhang to crack a static target, and you don't get more static than Joyce.

Zhang is probably similar level to Hrgovic would I think would lose to AJ.

Zhang but it doesn’t give much. I think Zhang got slightly better timing. Joshua puts the punches together a little better.

Hard to know. Id say Zhangs left is probably the hardest in boxing right now.

    Power

The thing that Usyk & Fury lacked which has enabled them to rise to the top by honing their boxing skills

Zhang has a left hand similar to Pacquaio, he throws it straight and through you. If you're not a walking statue like Joyce is though, shouldn't be a hard punch to avoid, especially at his age. But a given single punch yeah he punches harder.

Zhang has better timing with his left hook. Power is hard to say.

Zang obviously. Joshua's power is overrated. He couldn't do nothing to Ruiz.

Joshua needs much more good blows than Zhang to drop Joyce.

    Zhang.

It’s Zhang. He has ridiculous handspeed for a fat man and a load of power.

I’m surprised so many are convinced AJ beats Zhang and Hrgovic as well…

Maybe they both made each other look better than they actually were, but in their fight they both looked really quite skilled, threw loads of hard leather with combinations and fast counters, and demonstrated good chins.

AJ has a weak chin, terrible recuperative powers, poor stamina and a questionable heart under fire. If he trades with them he’ll crack first imo, and I can’t see him outboxing them for 12.

Usyk had AJ all over the shop and he’s a total light hitter. And AJ hasn’t faced a serious hitter in a while. Last 5 fights have all been totally without danger power wise.

Zhang has better one shot power with his straight left and hook. Joshua has better (or at least more proven) power with every other shot, and is by far the superior combination puncher. Zhang reminds me a bit of a giant fat one-shot Chinese version of Corrie Sanders, really sharp hands, great timing and accuracy and touch of death power. Joshua is more like a Lennox, much more well rounded and superior overall, but lacking that one killer attribute than Zhang possesses.
